Pera Joe Blues Band Bio

About, Pera Joe Blues Band was founded in Belgrade, Serbia in October, 2003, as a quartet made of experienced musicians committed to providing an entertaining performance based on a variety of blues influences. Each member brings their own unique brand of blues to the band. Modern approach to standard blues songs with new arrangements attracts more and more people to their concerts.

For almost the past 4 years the band had played all main blues and jazz international festivals in Serbia and Montenegro. Just to name a few: Voxstock (Belgrade) with Ian Siegel, Crossroad Nights (Belgrade) with Homesick Mac (SWE), Jazz Festival (Valjevo), Blues Summit (Pancevo) with Lubos Bena and Charlie Slavik (SK), North City Festival (Kosovska Mitrovica), Blues & Jazz Festival (Sabac) with Keith Dunn (USA), Jazztronic (Vrsac) with Franco Toro Trisciuzzi (ITA), Nishville (Nis), Inwires (Uzice), Blues Summit (Podgorica) with Paul Lamb (UK).
Also, the band has played over 300 club gigs in all major clubs in Serbia, Montenegro and Switzerland. Supporting names like: Dr. Aleksey Agranovsky (RU), Blues Trio (SER), Homesick Mac (SWE), Keith Dunn (USA), Franco Toro (ITA).

Eva Carboni is an Italian blues singer, musician, and writer. She studied at the prestigious Vocal Power Academy in Los Angeles, graduating in singing with the renowned vocal coach Elisabeth Howard, who has also coached the likes of Sting and Lionel Richie.

Innes Sibun

  Innes began playing the guitar at the age of twelve, and by the age of fifteen was regularly gigging with any band that would have him, playing blues, punk, jazz, folk and rock music. Although never formally trained in music, blagging gigs with jazz players old enough to be his father gave him a solid background in the basics of music. His other early teacher was a well worn copy of B.B. King Live at the Regal, that was pinched from a second hand shop in Bath. This formed the basics of his playing style.

Deitra Farr

  Deitra Farr is considered one of Chicago ’s top vocalists, according to Living Blues Magazine (May 1997). Fiery, energetic, and soul-stirring describes this woman, who has over the years been nominated for Traditional Female Blues artist of the year by the W.C. Handy Awards, Female Blues Artist of the year by the Living Blues Critics Awards, the British Blues Connection Awards, and the Les Trophees France Blues awards. On October 4, 2015 Deitra was inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame as a ” Legendary Blues Artist “. On December 9, 2016 the National Southern Soul Foundation gave Deitra ” The Most Popular Blues Artist Award”. Deitra is the recipient of the 2017 Jus Blues Music Foundation’s ” Koko Taylor Queen of the Blues Award”.
