Tony Lee King

About, Tony Lee King this charismatic musician, who grew up on the streets and in the clubs of European metropolises in search of his true love –” The Blues” – has in his long career worked with many famous musicians, from the saxophone player James Thompson (Zucchero, Jestofunk), British slide guitarist Michael Messer, to Fabrizia Cerciello (today Laure Pausini’s head manager), who wrote some of the lyrics for his songs. When the British slide guitarist Michael Messer met Tony Lee King at the Kastav Blues Festival, he was so inspired that he proposed that they work together and invited Tony to London, to record an album in one of the best studios, with handpicked professionals of the music business. After representing Croatia at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and the enthusiastic reaction of the American audience, Tony headed to London, where he worked on an album with a group of top British musicians, who lived their music and worked with the biggest names of today’s music scene. Thrilled by the music and the message of the songs, they participated in creating the Redemption album with full commitment, which clearly comes across when one listens to the music. TLKs’ music blends blues, rock and soul up to movie melodies, and he has created his own unique sound. Lyrics are very personal and inspired by personal experience and life. He is writing about the meaning of life, love and the eternal search for the truth! He made his first recording by accident in his twenties. When his desire to record music became too strong, he sold out all the furniture from his apartment and went in search of a music studio in Zagreb, which was then located in Zelengaj, owned by Vladimir Smolec. Tonys’ first and main inspiration was movie music by Ennio Morricone and the Blues. Later on Tony was captured by Paco De lucia, Elvis, B.B. King…and many more. The emotion of creating something deep from the bottom of his heart!

DENNIS SIGGERY - LEAD VOCALS

I became interested in music at very early age. At just sixteen I joined a band called The Five Diamonds as lead vocalist and we played a number of local gigs and youth clubs. I stayed with the band for a few years before taking up a career as a DJ in an R&B club playing Blues and Soul music.
